Which should you get Rock Band or Guitar Hero 3? Both of them are music games, are both of them allow you to play a guitar controller.

Guitar Hero 3 has over 70 songs, and features Guns n’ Roses, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. There is some different multiplayer modes, and online play. It is a good game but the notes that you hit on the screen sometimes don’t make sense when listening to the song.

Rock Band has 58 songs, and features The Police, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Metallica. Rock Band has drums, singing, guitar, and bass. There are new songs to download every week. It is great for multiplayer because you can have any combo of four instruments. It has four person online play also.

I would pick Rock Band over Guitar Hero 3 because the songs that Rock Band has are better and the notes that appear on the on the screen are more realistic. The Guitar Hero 3 bundle comes with the game, guitar, and guitar strap. It is $100 for PS3 and Xbox 360, and for PS2 it is $90. The Special Edition Rock Band bundle comes with a drum set, mic, guitar, game, and guitar strap. It costs $169.99 for PS3 and Xbox 360. It costs $159.99 for PS2.

Blast Factor, Nucleus, and Super Stardust HD are all from the PS Store, and there are all basically the same game. It’s the kind of game that you use the left analog stick to move, and the right analog stick to shoot in different directions. Since they’re all alike you’re probably not going to buy all there are them. The things that make you decide if you should buy a game are the price, the gameplay, and the graphics. Out of these Super Stardust HD has the best graphics.

Blast Factor is unique because you can tilt the Sixaxis controller and make the enemies get pushed to the left side of the screen, or the right side of the screen, depending which direction you turn it. Besides that it’s your average game.

Nucleus is average because the graphics are okay, and being able to choose your path to what level you play next gets boring fast.

Super Stardust HD is a great game and the best game of the three. It has good graphics, and fun and challenging levels. It’s similar to Geometry Wars 2, but the concept and the look is completely different. It’s just a fun game that you will playing over and over again to unlock all of the levels.

I would recommend buying Super Stardust HD and downloading the demos for Blast Factor and Nucleus.

Well I bought High Velocity Bowling today from the PS Store. The game uses the motion sensor in the Sixaxis controller to throw the ball, position the player, and to aim the ball. There are 8 characters to choose from, and there’s two to download. But what makes this game enjoyable is different challenge modes to get better at virtual bowling, and the funny phrases that each character has. There is support for up to 4 player local multiplayer.

I think that this game is or almost is as good as the wii sports bowling, and that’s saying something. It’s hard to say if you should buy this for ten dollars because there’s no online play, just like Pain. But if there’s ever a PS Store sale like there was for Thanksgiving I would buy it instantly.

A couple of weeks ago I picked up Call of Duty 4:Modern Warfare for Ps3. The game has left its World War 2 feeling, and has moved to a more Battlefield:MC feel. It is probably the best shooter I’ve played because the graphics are almost photorealistic, the campaign is the perfect length, and the online will keep you occupied for tons of hours.

The online has 13 modes and plenty of unlockables. Call of Duty 4 has adopted the choose your own class for selected weapons depending on what you are going to use them for. After a few rank-ups, you can create your own class.

The campaign is a bit confusing at first but after the first two levels or so I understood it. I would tell you about the campaign, but I wouldn’t want to spoil it for anyone.

I say that Call of Duty 4 is the best game out for the PS3 if Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune wasn’t out. Cod4 and U:DF are both best game worthy. I would recommend buying or renting both of them.

Well I bought the PS Store game Pain a couple of weeks ago and it proves to be entertaining and a good all around game. But is it worth ten dollars? Well the first disappointment is that it only comes with one level, Downtown. Hopefully they come out with an extra level to download. Well they are going to because there is a billboard you can crash into in Downtown that says there is an indoor amusement park level coming soon. Downtown is a great level with so many places to crash into and break your bones.

Pain has over 60 trophies to unlock by doing what it says in the description of the trophy. Some of the trophies unlock characters or game modes.

The multiplayer mode features horse, bowling, and my favorite fun with explosives.

The single mode features mime toss, spank the monkey, and paindemonium. The also a unlockable mode called aftermath.

Pain is a great game so I would give a 9 out of 10 but since it doesn’t have online play and it only has one level, I’m giving it a 8.2 out of 10.
